About DDE Working Group 11:  Paleomagnetism

The DDE Paleomagnetism Working Group has a fourfold mission:
(1) complete the paleomagnetism data dictionary, knowledge system and knowledge graph construction through international cooperation.
(2) establish standards of paleomagnetic data production through the communication and cooperation between the existing active laboratories.
(3) streamline the archiving of paleomagnetic data, which are currently distributed across at least three separately managed databases.
(4) gather active researchers for annual workshops that can include field training courses as well as discussions and actions regarding missions #1-3, above.
